Our proposal seeks to revolutionize environmental management through AirMeshControl, an intelligent system for monitoring and controlling atmospheric pollution across urban, semi-urban, and rural areas. This initiative directly addresses the HORIZON-CL6-2025-01-ZEROPOLLUTION-01 topic, championing sustainable solutions for a healthier environment.

At its core, the project utilizes RGODIM LTD's novel modular bioreactors, designed for real-time pollutant capture and bio-transformation. These systems are empowered by a sophisticated network of low-cost, modular environmental sensors and AI-driven controllers, allowing for data-driven decisions and unparalleled pollution reduction. This technology, never before deployed at a territorial scale in Europe, promises a significant breakthrough in environmental remediation.

Key Project Objectives:

Design and prototype modular environmental monitoring nodes equipped with advanced sensors for comprehensive air quality (PM2.5, PM10, CO2, NO2, NH3, CO, eCO2, O3), temperature, humidity, and atmospheric pressure.
Generate an extensive, open-source dataset of multi-variable environmental information to foster new research and discoveries.
Develop an integrated, compact, and connected system for advanced air treatment, incorporating physical, wet/dry biofilters, and a photoreactor.
Achieve up to 98% reduction in PM particles, 80% in highly volatile organic compounds, and 75% in gases (CO2, NOX, PM, VOCS, O3) within just 3 months of continuous operation in highly polluted areas.
Pioneer valuable biomass recovery by transforming atmospheric gases into usable biomass, promoting circular economy principles (e.g., biofuel, bio-fertilizer, bioplastics).
Ensure high-capacity air filtration of over 600 m³/h per bioreactor.
Optimize gas absorption and biodegradation by harnessing cutting-edge biotechnological advancements from participating universities and organizations.
